Meet Patrick & Rhonda McGuire, owners of McGuire Appraisal Co. Patrick has been a certified appraiser since 1993 but just opened up a formal office in downtown Wood River a year ago. McGuire is a graduate of Kearney State College and Drake University. In addition to his banking employment, he has operated the appraisal business from home for years. Patrick specializes in agricultural and commercial appraisals. Being from a fourth generation Nebraska farm family, he has a personal and thorough knowledge of valuing agricultural or commercial properties with expertise.
The firm also provides consultation services including:
- Buying, selling or dividing real estate
- Condemnation proceedings
- Litigation support
- Eminent domain for roadways
As the firm’s Managing Partner, Rhonda handles the day-to-day operations and marketing for the company. She is a graduate of Cal State Fresno with a degree in Home Economics with an emphasis in Fashion Merchandising. Rhonda has worked as a buyer for major department stores, worked for a large Omaha home builder assisting clients with interior design, in marketing at a senior care facility and at the Grand Island Chamber. Rhonda’s artistic flair shows through in their beautifully renovated office space (formerly Markussen Bookkeeping) at 906 Main Street in Wood River!
Rhonda is actively involved with St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wood River planning events and outreach activities. Patrick also plays the organ at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Grand Island.
