The city of Wood River is inviting the community and volunteers to join in an evening meal together on June 28th, 2019. It will be at the Library Park on 10th Street Wood River. If we have inclement weather, we will move the meal to the community center. The meal will be provided by Dick Cochran of HotMeals USA. HotMeals USA is a Christian based, non-profit organization committed to feeding those affected by disasters, regardless of affiliation. The March 15th ‘s historical flood made a major impact on our community. It not only affected the town of Wood River, but the rural areas also. The provided meal will give everyone a chance to come together and share their stories. We will have a speaker to share their experience on how what crisis like these can do to your family and community.  Everyone is welcome! All town residents, rural area and volunteers are invited to come join in the fellowship that only a small town has for each other.
